Anyone else a musician or music maker of some kind? I make experimental electronic music myself.

I'm all for open source. I wanted to get into Open MPT as well, but never got around to it.
Feel free to drop some old tracks. Oldies are goodies. ;)

Pd doesn't rely on Max, but it is programmed by one of the developers of Max. Miller Puckette was tired of the corporate/proprietary ownership of Max and the problems of developing that way, so he decided to write a similar program, but open source. So that's what Pd is. It's an open source program that's similar to Max, but also unique. It being open source is one of the best parts about it, IMO.
Unfortunately, I haven't had a lot of time for discovering new music in the past few years. I've kind of been consumed by my own project. I do appreciate all the great DJs out there who are always on top of putting great tracks together. :)

Nice! I haven't heard of PD surprisingly enough despite it being around for so long. I'll have to check it out though it looks like it relies heavily on Max. I would probably just rather stick to Reason. Yeah I'm still in Berdo lol. I have quite a few more psy mixes that I need to upload that are in need of podcast hosting. I might end up hosting the mixes myself once I get around to starting my own podcast. I'll be sure to send you a link to the show once it's up & running. If there's any tracks that you would like to hear mixed feel free to kick them down via WeTransfer or any other file sharing site of your choice.
